Are we living in virtual reality?

“Sri Krishna said: O Arjuna, Wherever a being is born, whether unmoving or moving, know that it is from the union between the field and the knower of the field. (Purusha is the knower of the field; Prakriti is the field; Shiva is another name for the knower of the field and Shakti is the field; Spirit is another name for the knower of the field and Matter (Prakriti) is the field).

 

Watching movies such as The Matrix makes one wonder about the nature of this world/reality.

Are we in a computer simulated environment? Are there parallel worlds such as ours with variations of our lives being lived there?

Many books have been written and movies made on similar lines.

However, recent research into virtual reality and augmented reality is startling. In this piece from The Newyorker the author takes us through the latest developments in these fields and leaves us to wonder in more than one direction about our reality.
