Maps – the old and the new

Cartography as a field, like many other fields is now being run on invisible robots (the servers) and algorithms.

The Royal collection in UK has made 3000+ maps in their archive public. For those interested spending their leisure going through these artistic pieces this is a treasure.

In contrast we have this visual treat from Google Maps. Worth an evening going through these on a big screen.
