Obituary of Great Barrier Reef (25 Million BC-…)

Writer's picture: Murali ThondebhaviMurali Thondebhavi

It’s indeed sad to read through this article highlighting the deathly slope of great barrier reef.

The rising water temperature, increasing dissolved carbon dioxide levels are mainly to blame the demise of many reefs across the world. You only have to see to believe (happened to visit Andaman Islands last month and witness the dead reefs).

Can anything be done to save these biodiverse environments?? Probably not.
